WHO MADE THE POT BRUSH?
As with all our products made in China, these are made in a factory owned by a millennial who has demonstrated refreshing, fair and progressive employment views from the numerous conversations we have had. He employs both men and women, absolutely no children and pays a good wage. Many of his employees are young graduates who studied business.
HOW ARE ORDERS PACKED?
All orders are sent out plastic free except for the sellotape used on the boxes.
HOW THEY REACH THE UK?
A few years ago we discovered a freight line between China and eastern Europe- products travel from all corners of China to Hungary where they disembark and carry on their journey to their final destination. This amazed us as it meant that it was not only quicker than sea freight, but also ship greener. Therefore, we courier most of our products that are made in China by train. We sometimes use sea too, for example for our bamboo toilet rolls, sea freight is simply more economical. From Vietnam and India we use sea freight due to the volume. Our razors, which are produced in Pakistan, travel by air freight as the volume is too small for these to travel by sea but we are constantly monitoring the situation. We want to be a completely flight free company within 2-years.
HOW OUR ORDERS WILL REACH OUR CUSTOMERS?
All of our trade orders are packed in Wales. About 90%+ of the packaging used is post-consumer, foraged from other peoples recycling bins and also donated by the local hospital who kindly collect boxes for us to reuse. We use paper tape instead of sellotape.
