250g of Organic Citric Acid (Soil Association Approved)

I am so happy to finally be expanding our green cleaning range by also including another all-time cleaning essential: citric acid.

Citric Acid is effective against: mould and mildew. It kills bacteria, and is extremely effective against stubborn work top marks! Also good against removing soap scum, hard water stains, calcium deposits, limescale and even rust!

We have been using citric acid in our cistern and toilet basin (with hot water) for years as an effective, gentle and toxic-free cleaner.

500g of Bicarbonate of Soda (Sodium Bicarbonate)

I am so happy to finally be expanding our green cleaning range by including this all-time cleaning essntial: bicarbonate of soda or sodium bicarbonate.

We have been using this for years as an effective, gentle and toxic-free cleaner. One common way to use is by simply making it into a paste by mixing the powder with a little water. For a scented paste, add drop of your favorite essential oil and get tackling your kitchen hobs, cooker, over, sink and all elements of the bathroom! You needn’t even make into a paste. It’s just as effective if its sprinkled then using a wet coconut husk  just  scrub away.

Bicarb has become increasingly popular with those seeking a natural approach to cleaning without compromising on efficacy.

Your bicarb comes in a fully recyclable, strong paper bag that can be reused.

500g of Sodium Carbonate (Washing Soda)

I am so happy to finally be expanding our green cleaning range by including this all-time cleaning essential: sodium carbonate.

What is Sodium Carbonate or washing soda?

Sodium Carbonate has many uses but most commonly it is used to wash clothes as a water softener or to put it more succinctly:

The sodium carbonate “softens” water helping other cleaning ingredients lift soil from the fabrics and suspend the soil in the wash water. The washingsoda binds to the minerals which make water hard and allows the detergent to be absorbed into fibers properly to clean clothes -The Spruce

I often use a little when I am washing clothes that are more soiled than usual, and particularly with cloth nappies, alongside soap nuts and a bit of bi-carb too for extra freshness!

Your Sodium Carbonate comes in a fully recyclable, strong paper bag that can be reused.

Bamboo + Sisal Pot Washer (and beyond)

Not only is this a thing of beauty, this bamboo and sisal pot washer (or basically whatever you find a purpose) is really very useful. It cleans effectively and then in about 3-months (possibly longer if you let is dry out totally between uses) can be happily added to your compost. Use an wood cutters tool (X) or similar to break it down a little bit before adding to the heap, to help the worms along. Please always be careful and ask an adult if you are attempting to break this down yourself.

Organic Bergamot 10ml

Organic Bergamot has a delicate smell and is part of the citrus family. Bergamot oil is added to Earl Grey tea and to a number of perfumes especially for men. When applied to the skin it has an antiseptic action.

I add it to my vinegar which I use for cleaning round the house as well as to my cider vinegar which I dilute and use as a conditioning rinse.

Organic Citronella 10ml
